These Terms and Conditions apply to the Maria Kaupas Academy SMS Alerts program operated by Molality Cloud Solutions LLC on behalf of Maria Kaupas Academy. By enrolling in the program, you agree to these Terms.
Maria Kaupas Academy SMS Alerts is an informational text message program for parents, guardians, and faculty. Messages from this program are identified as MKA Alerts, the abbreviation for Maria Kaupas Academy Alerts. Messages sent through this program are informational only and may include:
No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.
Messages sent through this program contain school-wide announcements only. No personally identifiable information is transmitted by SMS. We do not send student names, student ID numbers, grades, attendance or disciplinary records, health or medical information, class schedules, addresses, or any other personal information about a student, parent, guardian, or staff member.
Because SMS is not a secure channel and messages may remain visible on a device, the school will use phone or email for any communication that involves personal details about an individual student or family. Do not reply to these messages with personal information; replies other than the STOP and HELP keywords are not monitored.
Enrollment requires a double opt-in. You are not subscribed until you complete both steps:
Only users who reply YES are subscribed. If you do not reply YES, your number is not added and no alerts are sent.
By replying YES, you provide your express written consent to receive automated, informational SMS alerts from Molality Cloud Solutions LLC on behalf of Maria Kaupas Academy at the mobile number you enrolled.
Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of any purchase, and is not required to enroll at, receive services from, or participate in any program of Maria Kaupas Academy.
You must be 18 years or older to enroll a mobile number in this program. You may enroll only a mobile number that you own or are authorized to use. If you change or give up your mobile number, you agree to reply STOP first, or to notify the school so the number can be removed.
This program sends up to 20 messages per month. Actual volume varies by use case and is usually well below that limit; the cap applies in all cases, including emergency and weather-related alerts.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. This program is free to join, but your carrier's standard messaging charges still apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
To stop receiving messages at any time, reply STOP to any message from this program. You will receive a single confirmation message, and no further alerts will be sent.
If you previously unsubscribed and want to receive alerts again, reply START (not JOIN) to the alert number. START lifts the messaging block created by your STOP request — JOIN will not work while that block is in place. If you had previously completed enrollment, replying START re-subscribes you immediately under these same Terms and your original consent; if you never completed the double opt-in, text JOIN after replying START and complete both enrollment steps.

This program is supported by major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and their affiliated regional carriers. Carrier support may change without notice.
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier's network and on factors outside our control.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Neither Maria Kaupas Academy nor Molality Cloud Solutions LLC is responsible for delays, non-delivery, or misdirected delivery of messages, or for any consequences arising from them.
This program is not a substitute for emergency services. Do not rely on SMS alerts as your only source of emergency or closure information. In an emergency, call 911.
Information collected through this program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date below reflects the most recent revision. Continued participation in the program after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
